200 Mercury EFI -1999- stalled - not drawing fuel

I was out on the lake last night in my 1999 Outrage 21 with at 1999 Mercury 200 EFI. So far this season the engine has been working perfectly.
After about an hour of running the engine a various RPM levels, I was trolling for about 15 minutes and the engine stalled. I went back to the primer bulb and it was flat. I pumped it 5-6 times it filled up, and the engine started right up. It then ran perfectly back to the dock (5-6 miles of various RPM's) and idled perfectly at the end of the trip.

Any suggestions?

Could be, trash in the tank, something in the line or a bad bulb(probably not the bulCool. My experiences have been trash in the tank causing a stoppage in the line which causes the fuel pump to suck the bulb flat. You were lucky to get it pumped back up that easily. I had to reverse the bulb to clear the line, doing this several times before I made it back to the ramp. Oh also make sure the air relief valve is open and clear.

Check tank (as suggested), and Filter's, I would also try a new fuel line, the check valves & spring's can get tired and hang up, also is the arrow on the bulb facing from the tank to the engine (I only ask because, "I" have installed fuel lines backward's in a hurry, getting the same symptom's that you had, flat bulb), I'm betting that you have a tired fuel line.

I took my boat to Fla. last month. I towed it 5 hours with plans to fish for four days. We left the dock and after being on plane for about 2 min the motor shut down. I looked around a bit and fired her back up. I got up on plain for another 1.5 min and the motor shut down again. The only thing I had done prior to the trip was to take the water separator off and drain. I reached down and just got a smidge of a twist on it. Fired up again and the motor ran grate for the remainder of the trip. I was once with a guy who could not keep his (previously my) 70 Yamaha running. I pumped the bulb while he ran the boat. After a couple of minutes I found a pin hole in the bulb. Check the fuel system, Change the easy stuff and you will probably fix it.
