Hi Guys,
I thought I would pass on a great OMC Tech's contact info. I am in Central Mass and recently hired him for a few things on my 88hp Evirude. The motor was not idleing for me and had an issue with compression in the starboard bank, the motor now idles perfectly and compression is fixed. He also installed a new tach and volt meter for me. He was very professional and reasonably priced, with 4 kids that is exactly what I was looking for, hope this info can help someone else.

I met Raul last fall - he shrinkwrapped my 15 for me. Very nice guy, mentioned that his Dad was the biggest OMC distributor in his home country - I think it was the Dominican Republic? I kept his card in case I have difficulties with my 70 - glad to know it worked out well for you.

Tim, it looks like you were down on Quinsig. Great looking boat hope you enjoy it. Raul is a great guy and I swear he could work on OMC's with his eyes closed he knows them that well. Its funny the motor on my boat was diagnosed 2years ago by a BW dealer (I wont mention name) as dead, I did what I could do reading the seloc manual and enjoyed it to this point. Raul went over it and did his thing and now says I should be confident in the engine.

Yep - not much to Quinsig, but a close to home and a good place to try out trim / props. I think they start charging for the ramp soon, though.
