My 1990 Boston Whaler 18 Outrage with twin Yamaha 70hp

Here's the boat when I bought her back in December 2008

And

Here's the boat after re-wiring:

http://www.danwagner.com/18outrage416.../index.htm

Here's the boat on the trailer (I'm very unhappy with how much of the boat - 17 inches - is hanging off the end, and I'm trying to get Loadrite to fix things)

http://www.danwagner.com/Loadrite5920.../index.htm

Here's a movie showing cavitation plate, twin 70hp 1989 Yamahas mounted 1 hole up:

Last, here are some photos I took today:

http://www.danwagner.com/18Outrage511.../index.htm

I have some small holes to fill, and few small odds and ends to attend to. I'm seriously considering a fuel metering system. The Yamahas go through a lot of fuel and I want to make sure I operate more efficiently and don't run out of gas.

WOW,incredible, and Good Luck with the boat and anything else you do with it. I will look at those photos again and again because there is so much information believe it or not just looking at them. Incredible attention to detail.

Dan
She really looks great.............My son put a Lowrance fuel monitoring system on his 26 CC with twin 200 Suzukis and it is amazing all of the functions it can perform...........Fairly easy to install, but a bugger to program..........after that it's pretty simple

jorders, when I replaced tank I lost sight gauge in floor. I now have a teleflex gauge which I'm going to replace with a matching Yamaha gauge. I will probably also get a fuel management gauge.

Beautiful boat. Is that a Subaru Outback it's hitched to? Does it do well towing that amount of weight?

Yes agreed nicely done. I will add, love the twins. You don't see that too often.

Wow, beautiful boat! I also have to ask about the Subaru Outback, do you really tow that boat with the Outback? Let us know, how it does and what model it is?
