Big goofy grin on my face today. Grin I bought the 95 Dauntless 15 with a 50 Honda.
The dealer repaired the flaws and the boat is in great shape. Gelcoat shines like new and there are no blisters.
We test drove it with 3 people on board and the performance was fine for what I want. When I got it home we dropped it in the water and cruised over to Brighton for dinner. 23 miles round trip and we used less than 3 US gallons of fuel.
Thanks again to all who commented on my previous posts and answered my questions and to all who contributed to the many threads that I have read on this site while thinking this through.
I couldn't be happier. Cool

The grin first hits your face when running the no wake zone near the marina. Everyone you pass turns to look at the Whaler as you idle by them, often times with a thumbs up. Of course, when you clear the no wake zone and hit the trottles.....

By the way, the pictures of that boathouse on your personal page are awesome. What a place to keep a boat!

Thanks for the well wishes. That boat house does look like a nice place to bring a Whaler home to. The boat house belongs to the previous owner. The Whaler's new home is a lift with a mooring cover. I should have some new pics next week.

Hi there,
I'm trying my best to give my husband an awesome anniversary and Father's day gift. That would be to repair the 1964-67 Boston Whaler that's been parked in our carport for 2 years. We live in St. Petersburg, FL. I'm looking for a person who would take care and interest in re-painting the boat, but it also needs a new console...and the motor needs to be checked out too. The motor is 1979 Johnson model (if I'm correct)...and I need a new trailer too... All guys and gals that love boating are awesome, wonderful people. I was just hoping to ask if anyone knew who does this type of work "on the side" and would be able to provide me with a good contact in my area, to help me out? Thank you in advance!

Mary
