Does anyone have any pictures of a set up that would work on this boat? Can't do a troller as it has a wrap around rail on the bow but would like to do a kicker if possible.

Thanks in advance

Look in the "Vendors Web Links" on the left sidebar under Motor Brackets.

I would put a solid mount on the back, not one of those knuckle and back breaking adjustable brackets.

I would also not cut the rub rail to mount it directly on the transom.

There are many ways to also make your own fixed bracket.
I have attached one below that uses white starboard. You could use black starboard etc...

Whaler said this

"Unfortunately, the 150 Sport does not have the reinforcement on the transom in order to mount an auxiliary motor bracket...sorry.
Below is a link to the reinforcement diagram for the 2007 150 Sport...
http://whalerparts.com/Diagrams/2007/Wood/1689779.pdf"

and this "I suppose something could be custom fabricated as long as it is properly thru-bolted on the transom where the reinforcement is molded in between the inner and outer hull.
There is no bracket (that I know of) that will mount in this area and angle out towards the port side of the main engine to allow clearance for steering."

Do you know for sure that a bracket would work like you have pictured?

Thanks

I have not looked at the wood locating diagrams for a 2007 150 Sport as I do not own one.

Take precautions. Maybe others here can have suggestions.
