Member Posts: 13 Comments: 0 Joined: 09/26/08	I have a 115 yamaha on a 84 17 montauk and I love this motor on the boat. Any thing less would not work for me. I 240 lbs and it picks me up on skis no problem. I think the 100 4 stroke would be a great motor for it. I dont think it has to much power but is there a such thing. The only thing I would not recommend is a dolphin fin, it made it very squirly. I wouldn't think the weight would be a factor unless you wanted a big kicker.

I love this engine but if i'll ever have to repower i'll go with the e-tec and not the 4 strokes. Very heavy weight even at 90 Hp! Tasos
