I'll take some pictures in the morning if you'd like. Basically all I did to align the bimini top correctly was to position the top in the down position, aft. I made sure that while the top is down, it would not interfere with the raising and lowering of the motor or interfere with the steering either. After I figured out where I wanted the top while in the down position, I marked the spot and installed the mounts. Once I had the mounts on both the port and starboard sides attached, I adjusted the four straps and marked off where I wanted the attaching points for the straps. It was an easy process and the only help was from my 5 year old (he is seven now).
