I downloaded the wood diagram... my question is this....

First, background of my project... I am creating a 17' super sport seating arrangement. No center console.

Question... There are stringers below the fiberglass floor to mount wood blocks to attach the footing of my console. If I am reading the diagram correctly there are sheets of plywood inbewteen the stringers.. right? Can I attach my blocks to the plywood and will it be stong?

The design of my console unfortunately ends inbewteen the wood stringers.

Thanks!

Yes there should be 1/2? plywood under the glass on the floor that is for mounting to. I would look at redesigning your set up so you can mount into the wood otherwise if you wount where there is no backing it will for sure pull out.

The design will fall on the plywood for sure. I wanted to give more room to walk inbetween the console and the port side of the hull.

When complete I will post a picture.

Thanks!
