Member Posts: 1987 Comments: 34 Joined: 04/02/05	Yes I personally think it would likely be to heavy for any year however, the 1975 and later 13's with the 20" transom would be better suited for that motor. I would look for a much lighter 2 Stroke carb'd or DFI motor.

Also I am running a 1993 40hp Yamaha 2 stroke. When I slow too quickly, water will rush over the transom. Lighter is better with the 15" transom. Cliff 1966 13' Sport with a 1993 40hp Yamaha 2 Smoker
