The sourpuss is a name given to it based on what the bow looks like compared to the classics......pre 1972 or so. EDIT- My bad, I got the term "Sourpuss" and "Smirkless" confused.....Opps. What you have is a 1980 Sport with the optional wrap around rail w/ Mahogany backrest. The rail and backrest cost and additional $235 in 1980 when the boat was purchased. To be a Super Sport, you need to have the storage locker aft of the seat and they were not available until 1984/1985. Nice condition on the boat. Do you have better photo's of the rear seat and the brackets whaler used to attach the backrest? it looks like they used the same boomerang type supports that are used on the older Eastport rear seat. The Super Sport was made from 1984 to 1994.
