Looking to purchase new sternlight for my 13' whaler and it would be nice to have a removable one so that I don't have to have a whole in my new canvas cover.I've looked at the ORIGINAL version on Specialty Marines website but can't tell if it is removable.
The stern light itself that you looked at is removable yes. You have to create a quick disconnect in your wiring circuit somewhere so you can plug and unplug and then lift it out of the stanchion. Be careful where you place it, or make sure you get one that is small enough to fit through the stanchion.
