Need some help here guys, I have looked for quite awhile for comps. in this area and they are almost non-existant. I have to admit that I have been in denial about my health for quite some time now but the straight fact is I can't handle the boat.
Now I purchased this boat two years ago and have completly dismantled it for stem to stearn, completly reconditoning them or replaced the parts with new. The missing OEM parts such as the Marinum bow lights I have purchased on E-Bay.
I have about $17000.00 in the boat wiith the fiberglass work. Motor reconditioning . New floor. Motor has been professionally repainted at a auto shop with new OEM decals.
The trailer is a 2005 magic tilt aluminum bunk trailer with surge brakes, the boat rides like a dream.
The motor is a 1992 Mercury 150 Back Max with terrific compression on all cylinders
The boat goes into the marina this week to have the wiring and fuel lines replaced since I received the floor back from the fiberglass shop'
Now I know that I could never get the money I spend back, but its been fun doing it
I was thinking somewere between 9000.00 and 10.000. Am I too high? What do you think? Need feed back because now that I've made up my mind I want to move it
Thanks.

regentsbay,
I have been following the photos on your progress in your personal page.
Sorry to hear you are selling the boat.
Do you have any photos of what the boat looks like now?

Start high, it's easier to come down in price than to go up. I will advertise at 15-16k and see if you get a nibble.

Given all the recent work, 10k is too low. I agree with Kamie. Any offer less than 12-13k is theft.

It all depends on you need/urgency to sell. Obviously the economy/market is very poor right now. If it were me and I didnt need to sell it quickly,I would start @ $15-16K. If I need to unload it $12K. Just my $0.02. Either way good luck and make sure it goes to a good home.
PS-want to sell the canvas?

That is what I was thinking about the economy and thats why I thought my price was in line. however I must be wrong due to the reputation of the people replying to the thread. I also have to take into concideration that I don't want to renew my lease at the marina for the next year where I have been keeping the boat for the last two years. The boat will be done this week and I have had it under cover in its own garage for the past two years to dry it out. By the way two years with 4 drill holes in the bottom and all I have found is 6 or 7 drips. So again I must be wrong.
