Tilt n Trim on 89 Yamaha 150 leaks

The source of the leak appears to be around the threading for the pigtail located at the bottom of the main assembly housing (#39 in the attached pic). I replaced the pigtail, but the leak continues. Has anyone experienced this? Short of replacing the assembly, what can i do? Thread sealant?
