The previous owner said these items came new with his whaler montauk in 1982, I can't seem to find much info on the raised rear deck? Was this an option on this model or is it an aftermarket item? It has wood sides that mount to the lip on the rear of the boat. The PO said that he never used it and it was hanging in his barn. He said that he would throw it away if I didn't take it? He also provided a seat mount for the front. Not sure if this is original or not? Thanks

Yes, those parts are Whaler original equipment parts.
The stern deck and fore and aft pedestal seats were optional on the Montauk.

Would you be interested in selling the stern deck?

Understandable. Just keep me in mind if you want to sell it. I may also be interested in the seat mount. Where in Ga. are you.
