This appears to possibly be a Montauk with an aftermarket seat.
An average 1979 Montauk with a good used engine and used trailer sells for around $6k to $8k depending on which part of the country you are from.
Motors aren't cheap so you would have to determine your final price considering what engine you are going to put on it.

hey J I am in savannah. There has been a late 80's smirked hull for sale on the charlston craigslist for a while. It looks nice and you can get it rigged for about 5 grand.I will see if I can post a link. I know the motor is older but rigged out for 5 grand is a great deal.

JPB, I troll for Trout,Stripers and Walleye in the upstate of SC and North Georgia mt. I had a Montauk . I Mounted downriggers to the side rails and it worked realy well. The Montauk weight is perfect for slow trolling for the species you mentioned. I have a fifteen now and and miss being able to stand up on the rough days. THe Outrage is very com fortable but does weigh a bit more. My .02 BG

JPB, I paid $6k for my 1980 Montauk about 5 years ago. It had a 1987 Yamaha 70 hp and a 2001 Cotinental tralier. Mine had everything almost original with no side or front rails. I wish I had the side rails for fishing rod holders ect. I'm very glad it had the original console and RPS. I'm trying to get it rigged for striper fishing on Lake Lanier. We have a very nice group of Whaler owners in this area. Garey

Turned out to be an 1982 montauk. I brought it home this morning...The owner pulled out a rear casting deck and a mount and seat for the front. He said these were offered by the dealer when he bought the boat new...Thanks for the help.

got my 87 montauk with a '95 115 evinrude and trailer for $3800.
my wife found it by accident. when i saw it i thought this is going to be a little out of my range at about 7-8K. good price couldnt pass it up.
have since rebuilt the trailer completely. acquired a johnson seahorse '83 7.5 HP kicker for free (pristine condition and runs like a top) since.
