Does anyone have measurements for the super sport interior? I am looking at the 13 foot and I can find Sport models all over the place, some even at reasonable prices. What I am really want interior wise is the Super Sport, with the backrest and storage. I am hoping if I can buy one and refinish the interior, I can just buy a Sport and replace the interior.
What year Super sport ? I have a '76 15' sport, I've raced, chased, and blasted around the Bay with other 15' "super sports", the only difference between the two boats (that I can see, and I may be wrong) is the railing, and maybe the seats, the rest of the boat is the same as the sport model (same exact hull) performance seems to be the same, you can customize a Whaler very easily on the interior with basic wood working skills (see "W/C project gallery" to view some amazing work) I prefer the side rails (sport) over the bow rails (super sport), only because it makes boarding and unboarding easier, as well as pulling people out of the water (something that I've been doing a lot of lately) hope this helped.

Your correct the hulls are the same, but I prefer the seats with the backs in my old age I know I could put fold down seats on the twart seats in the Sport model, but I really don't like the look. I could wing the woodworking and make the seats, was hoping to find someone with the plans so I would have a starting point. If I find that, then it expands my options for finding a hull.
I have an 13 foot sport that i am replacing all of the wood in. I found a place near me that has stacks of the supersport side rails. They charge 5 dollars a pound for the wood. When i bought my side rails it came out to 69 dollars for the two. So now i am changing mine from a sport to a super sport. I will try to post some pics. The only difference that i have found is the side rails. They are fancier and have cleats for a back rest and alot nicer console. not the square one like the sport but a nice sloped one. I couldnt belive how much it livened up my boat when i changed it from a sport to a super sport.
