I drove to the other side of the state to pick up this boat. 1982 Newport . I am still smiling. Just got it today. I am interested in any information positive or negative anyone can give me on this boat. I have scoured the internet for days and the info on Newports seems to be limited.
Project number 1 - Trolling motor
I have no idea where to mount one on this boat. I emailed a guy online that claims to have step by steps on what to do but that was from 2004 so I doubt I will hear back from him. Ill post some pictures in a few days along with my purchase story...
