Really looks fantastic! What did you use for interior paint?

thanks guys, my 76 year old father helped me, he had such a blast with this project that we are looking for another one!!!
I used Interlux "Brightside" interior paint, had it mixed to the original "desert tan" color and it came out a dead on match!!! lots of sanding of minute cracks and spider webbing and 2 coats using the "roll and tip" method.

MW not showing my ignorance (or actually I am) what does "CAP" mean

Great varnish too... I am 99.9% sure those wood pieces from Mike have Interlux Schooner varnish on them over a coat or two of West System epoxy.

Few thing's look as great as a Whaler with the wood done up, you can watch the heads spin like "Bobble Doll's" when other boat's pass, you know that "Deep Down" they're sayin "I wish I had a Whaler".

Where did you get "Brightside" custom mixed and do they have a formula for Whaler Blue used in the pre-1973 boats? Your boat looks great!

How did you get Brightside paint mixed to the desert tan?

I need to redo my son's "72" interior to the desert tan.

I ordered the Interlux "off white" from "boat bandit" took it to a marine paint dealer in Mobile, Al and had them mix more Interlux black into it until it came to the "desert tan" color we thought was the closest, very good match I think!!!
