Hello all, I have something I would like to share with the whaler community. I have a new supplier for custom made whaler canvases and cushions that has some real potential. This is an Amish canvas and upholstery shop that does very high quality, old world style workmanship, with the latest materials like sunbrella and UV resistant upholstery materials. I have attached a couple of pictures of a cooler cover and seat back that he made from the old dry rotted parts. They look great. The foam, backing and hardware are all first class. I haven't gotten a chance to take any good pictures of the canvas but it looks fantastic. These guys have been making boat canvases for 40 years and do a fantastic job. I would like to get a couple of canvases from some of the classic Whaler designs for patterns so this guy can make canvases to supply Whaler owners. 11, 13, and 15 Sports and the 17' Montauk are good ones to start. If you need one of these canvases, and are willing to ship your old one, I am sure we can work a deal. The old canvas will need to be cut apart for patterns so it is gone one he is done with it. I'll work on the pictures for the new canvas but it won't be for a couple of weeks. If anyone is interested please let me know. David
