Wood side rails rubbing metal hand rails (15' sport)
After installing my side rails (wood), I noticed that they rub the middle vertical part of the metal side rails. Do any other 15 Sport owners have this issue?
Mine didn't rub but they were close so I got some nylon washer/spacers from Lowes and put them between the wood and the fiberglass sides of the boat. You can get them from 1/16 inch to 3/8 inch thick. Just put them in the screw holes and they will allow the wood to stand off from the sides and the rail.... That did the trick on mine.

I finally installed the interior (complete) and the console and aft thwart seat installation required that I loosen the side rails. One the console and seat were secure I tightened up the side rails and it doesn't hit the metal hand rails anymore. One step closer to launching.......
