This site is great! I recently scored a 1983 18' Outrage to play with. This site has wealth of info for me to stay up late reseaching. Are there any other members in the Cocoa Beach, Fl area?

Only missing the wood cover for the cable exit in the floor. The boat needs some polishing for sure but overall good condition. The only thing I am concerned about is the Stbd side of the hull has an area about 1ft in diameter that is recessed(wave). I have read that this is nothing to alarmed about. but it is rather deep. I haven't put a straight edge on it yet but it appears to be about 1/2 inch deep overall. It is still bonded well ,but I am worried that the glass will eventually pop away from the foam. How thick is the glass? I have worked with surfboards over the years and once the glass loses it's mechanical bond to the foam from an indentation it will pop up. Will this happen with the the Whaler hull?
