While out on July 4th, a sailboat over turned in front of me with two women on board, dumping them into the Bay (It was a small trainer about 14', I think that they are called "Flying Scots" ) The little 15' Whaler was "Johnny on the spot" again plucking them out of the Bay, I towed their craft a few hundred yards back to the dock in reverse, the sail underneath the water made my steering efforts almost impossible but, I did it by thrusting the motor in short bursts. A 15' Whaler flipped in "Peconic Bay" as well on 7/4/06 when conditions got too choppy for it travelling to "Robbins Island", in both cases nobody was hurt thanks to the fact that they had "PFD's" ON !
