I am in the phase of converting my 76' sport to an 85 style super sport. I have been working from pictures on the internet and trying my best to translate them to here in the workshop. I have come in my opinion pretty close to the console, however I am having difficulty in getting the driver siderail right. If anyone has a super sport model wood interior I would really appreciate it if I can call you up or have an email exchange on the measurements. I contacted a seller on eBay who sells the complete interior kits for 1000$ and asked some questions but they didn't reveal the measurments to me. I guess I can understand that, but I am ardent DIYer and love working with wood so this would be a great winter project for me. If someone could help me out or point me in the right direction I would be willing to pay a few bucks for your time. I live in NJ so I am willing to come to you. Thanks in advance!!
I already have them filed and printed out. These two and a very few others hang in my workshop. I have the general outline and length cutout on a cardboard stencil.
Aloha, I have a 15 ss 1988 that i completely re-did last year. I am in cape may, sometimes. thats where the boat is. I will be there this weekend if you are around that area. Your more than welcome to come see what i did as i went through the exact same thing and had to pretty much figure it all out myself. I did buy the interior kit from speciality marine on this site, and it was more than worth it. send me a pm, and ill send you my phone # if you like. thanks, alex.
