It came to me that Jim;
The captain of the Scrimshaw had safeguarded the enrollment of his crew of two.
An attempt to Shanghai his fearless young lads was thwarted;
And this in the highest Court of the land.
Whaler Dad came on top as the Justice was rather fond of the privileged Whaler boating lifestyle that His crew and vessel were enjoying and on a yearly basis.
Twenty Cannons Salute in celebration of this great Victory.
And yo ho ho and Hurrays for Jim and his gallant Crew!!

Serge, thanks for the support, an effort was put forth in an attempt to keep the crew ashore infact change their residence !
I sustained a full attack but remain as Captian in full command of my Crew, our adventures will continue unhindered.
Interesting to note,the cost of fuel is an entertainment expense as is maintenence of the vessel,the opposition is now court ordered to make monetary contributions to support the childrens entertainment.

Hey Buddy,

That's a good looking crew you got there!
The boat doesn't look back either.
I can see that the neighborhood is getting renovated though.
Love the photo.
I have tried to load one without success.
I like yours better.

Congrats Jim! As I side before, wrong move trying to say the boat was a hazard...What irony that she now has to pay to cover it's maintenance.

It is also very unusual to see this kind of calling to the water in others.
I do remember of my earliest pre teens living a stone trow away from the St Laurence on the big old Island of Montreal.
As a tot and being put outside for fresh air like a potted plant I do recall of smelling the river water and often hearing of the boat whistles and engine sounds.
The call of the water to us from very early age is something that we are born to get along with..
It is nice to see this feeling and mode of expression showing in acquaintances and good friends in their own ways and private lives.
I must say that I will enjoy hearing of more Whaler adventures from the crew of the Scrimshaw..
My Compliments..on a job well done.

If I understand what you guys are saying, you won custody of your kids Jim? My former fist mate tried to change the residence of my two second mates about 2 years ago. Needless to say, my crew is intact as well and they live with me. Congrats on your victory! I'm glad to see the courts are favoring the dads more often than not when it comes to raising kids. My former first mate has to pay fees as well....
