Forward fighting chair

Member Posts: 17 Comments: 1 Joined: 07/12/06	Does anyone know how to mount a fishing chair on the forward platform of the older (71-76) 21' Outrages. Does the base pole extend through the platform and mount to the hull with a plate, or does the base mount to the platform with a plate underneath? Thanks in advance for any info.

Member Personal Page Posts: 177 Comments: 0 Joined: 08/14/08	I just bought an 83 outrage 18 and the forward locker/anchor hatch is very heavy,has an aluminum plate on the inside with 5 or 6 bolts going through it,probably from a chair. So I think you will need to reinforce a standard one pretty substiantially.
