Has anyone rail mounted a Scotty Rod Holder to a classic Montauk. I have a pair of them and the bracket used to screw them down is too big of a diameter for the rail. Has anyone encountered this problem?
I am not that familiar with the Scotty Rod Holders but Lee's and other rod holders come in different sizes to fit the 7/8" railing that most of the Classics have.
Maybe your rod holders are made for the larger railing...
