Much of the hardware on the 1983 Outrage 18 was made by Wilcox-Crittenden and made of Marinium, a proprietary aluminum alloy.
Off the top of my head I can think of W/C parts including the cleats, hawse pipes, bow lights, and parts of the stern and mast head light mounting hardware.
Other hardware on board is made of chrome plated bronze (rail bases) and stainless steel (rails, fasteners, bow/stern eyes, etc.)
The flush mounted rod holders were made be Lee's and are chrome plated bronze with stainless steel tubes, not aluminum.
Thanks that really clears things up,I was worried that the guy I bought the boat from had foregone the OEM stuff for the cheaper aftermarket stuff. I saw Lees and then the Wilcox.Crittenden names and was concerned. But no llonger since its what the boat came with. Thanks.
