You're more than welcome to drop by (Encinitas) to make some templates (cardboard) if you cannot find anything online. The only thing is that my console is still in one piece. Thanks, Gerrit

Member Posts: 12 Comments: 0 Joined: 11/12/08	I moved here 11 years ago from Atlanta and "landed in Encinitas" quite by happenstance. I tried many a board, but in the end, it's not a pretty site to watch me surf. Now that I have kids (6 and 4) I'm getting back into it a bit more and hopefully get better. It's guys like you that make make surfing look like a snap. When I got here I was so motivated by the "apparant ease" of surfing from watching folks, that I "kept buying boards" to get it right thinking it was the board and not me! Mark over at Encinitas Boards has seen some good business!!! In my experience, surfing has not come easy, especially when you pick it up in your 40's. I think I worry about the wave too much and not the moment surrounding it. I'm a summer surfer for the most part. I live near stone steps, so I go to the local haunts mostly (D, Moonlight, Stone Steps, Beacons, Cardiff Reef, Table Tops) I know better than to go to swami's... I'd get eaten alive there! Tony

I live just off Encinitas Blvd about a mile or so east of I-5 near the botanical gardens. I usually surf at least once a week but work and family has kept me pretty busy over the last few weeks. I going to start my varnishing tomorrow after a little more prep work. Gerrit
