My dad has an old Boston Whaler Outrage (17'Wink and it's terrific except that the bench seat and the two well covers (? is that what they're called?) in the back are bowed and in terrible shape. Where can I get new ones for him?

Look at the upper right side of this page just under the date. You will see "visit our sponsors". A couple of those guys can fix you up.

You guys are awesome! I need to verify the year of the boat. It does look a lot like yours, Phil. But I'm so used to seeing it OUT of the water I can't be sure. (When it's in the water, I'M ON IT!!). I know it's an older boat. (We just replaced motor.) It's got a deeper v hull than some of the newer boats. (is that because they are Montauks?) I'm obviously not the expert. Just trying to surprise dad for Christmas.

lisacamriv,

Take a look through the Whaler Models section and see if you can find your model.

What is throwing me a bit is you saying "bench seat". The Outrage 17 I and II do not have a full bench seat per se. There are the two rear stern seats and some owners have a seperate cushion on top of the baitwell tank.

This is a better shot of the stern area:
