What is the location of the engine's anti-cavitation plate in relation to the bottom of the hull? Typically, a good position is 1- 1/2 inches above the bottom of the hole. This is reflected in the engine's top set of mounting bolts being in the second or third hole from the top when counting down. P.S. Member Personal Page Posts: 4280 Comments: 7 Joined: 09/30/05	OK, a 2007 Mercury 60 HP BigFoot on a Sakonnet will want to have a 13-3/8" x 14" Mercury Vengeance propeller on it. You can expect to see a top speed of 30-35 MPH.
