I just finished my break in (10 hrs) and thought some of you would be interested in my preliminary numbers. This is with Suzuki's 16x18.5 prop and it's on a 6" set back jack plate.
According to the fuel flow guage, my best milage is going ot be around 3 mpg somewhere in the low 4000rpm range. At wot, I'm still getting better than 2mpg, which is amazing.
Overall, the engine looks and feels gigantic. It replaced a 250 2 stroke and added roughly 110lbs to the transom. I lost about an 1" or so in dead draft. With my 105lb kicker and 610lb 300, I figure I'm pretty close to the original twin 150 2 stroke rigging weight.
