I have what I thought was a 1968 Sakonnet and now thanks to this website and the codes provided on one of the pages i realized it may actually be a 1966. In any case I ordered mahogany to re-do the console myself and then spoke with Mike Stennett at Nautical Lumber he advertises on this page. I can not explain how nice a job he did making me a new console. I could have never matched his quality/craftsmanship. Unreal, I will be ordering more finished wood products from him and would highly recommend him. I can send photos if anyone would like to see. I am in the process of a complete rehab so the console is in my basement.
