Not sad at all, in my estimation, if it was close by, and you wanted to restore one. $850, no bids and one day left.

Boat I guess. It's in pretty sad shape. As the seller, I sure would not be sad to get $1000 for it... But then he hasn't gotten any takers, so perhaps he is sad too.

That would make for some really nice "before" pictures, assuming someone had the intestinal fortitude to restore it.

Speaking of sad... the guy working on my boat got a ribside Outrage in the other day. Damaged in Hurricane Ike. Boat had previously been restored, but was left in the water during the storm. I'll try to take some pictures, I plan to be back out there next week. Also quite sad...

Wow, that would take a lot of work to retore that boat. I'm sure it would be okay to have if the new owner was planning on using it for a serious work boat.....maybe to get a few lobster traps or something. Wow.......she needs some attention.

Okay I feel much better about my project now. There is almost nothing original left of that old girl -- I like a good challenge but $1000. Is he paying that to take it away? It does not include the motor or trailer just the hull.

I would be willing to bet you could haul it off for 500.00 or less. That would not be a bad price for a project hull. Only for a do it yourself kind of project. You would go broke paying for a shop to restore her.
