this plastic was in my whaler when I bought it. Don't know what it is could be unrelated to whaler.

18 ft. 1985 Outrage, Found in the console storage area, with other junk.
It folds up flat.

I think this should fall under the "other junk" category and be left out of the boat. I have seen almost every model out there and this does not look like something that is going to make a difference in your boats performance.

That is not a Whaler part.
I suspect it a sun shade for some old CRT fish finder.
