USS Intrepid in new berth

Took the family into NYC to see the Intrepid towed back to its berth. The waters were rough but worth the trip. FDNY had a boat with red/white/blue hoses of water running. Lots of coverage. I followed about 200 yds to the rear and watched the berthing with the family. I'll post some pics when I get the pics back.

Here is a picture I found online with the NYFD water display. Do you see your boat in there somewhere? I was looking for a Whaler but could not tell.

That is me the little white spec in the lower lefthand corner! Smile I was parked next to the fireboat.
