We were wondering if anyone knows on a 1998 Outrage if the cooler mounts are on a plate on the floor of the boat or what? We are in need of new tie downs for the cooler seat and were curious if the screws are mounted into something other than the floor? Thanks!
My 1997 Outrage 17 had "Cooler Cleats" from Boston Whaler.
These Cleats were made from Starboard (Whalerboard) and had adjustable straps to hold down the cooler. These Cleats were mounted to the floor using screws.
I would contact Boston Whaler and see if you can order a pair of the Cooler Cleats for your model and size of cooler.
