I was surfing the net the other day and came across a familiar set of photos on photobucket, I think..
Darn if I could find it again..
Anyway the page displayed photos of our popular friend, Jim's Outrage;
the well known Classic ribbed Outrage 1971 "Scrimshaw".
I thought that I saw as part of the fixtures on a plaque; the name and classic wheel of an unfamiliar Patron Saint.
I was intrigued and altogether curious at the unfamiliarity of the name.
I know that this sight by today's standards has a certain amount of meanings to a percentage of us.
I hope that I have not mistaken this sight as altogether belonging to another craft.
If it is yours Jim, would you like to comment on the Patron Saint?
Any one else naming Patrons on their crafts?
I am positively curious.
Your very observant, it's St. Brendan the patron Saint of navigators. I work in a Catholic Hospital and the Priest who says Mass on Sundays watched as I did what you do now, when I first launched he was present with a blessing and plaque. I never navigate/boat alone ! Oh Whales too P.M.your address to me Serge and I'll see to it you'll never be alone.
