Feeling in a festive mood and not necessarily a "sanding" one, I am sharing with all you guys a photo of a catch an early July morning.
I do recall only one strike and one chance at landing this beauty at about six AM.This nice fat doe weighed at 34LBS.

This one will show a later catch of a 32 and a 16 lbs, both laying on the kitchen floor prior to processing.
To get a perspective of the size, look at the knife at top, my cat Casey sniffing the doe and the open bottom page of newsprint.
