slots in side board of 13

Member Posts: 4 Comments: 0 Joined: 11/22/07	I need the pro's to weight in on this.. while refinishing the side boards of my 13 I noticed slots/groves cut into the cutouts for the seats, My guess is that there was some type off retainer fixed in these to hold the seat in place since I noticed a small brass pin. If anyone knows what they are and what I should replace them with I'd appreciate it thanks Bob
