What holes do I use for mounting a 25 inch shaft to my 1979 0utrage > The engine is a 225 saltwater series OX o66 year 2000 . Will the engine tilt totally out of the water ?? Any other comments on this set up or engine >>??? Thanks Bob

You want to initially set it up so that the cav plate is no lower than the bottom of the hull, and can even be a little higher, esp if you're running a stainless prop. Give this article a read as checking the height while underway is the optimal way to make sure it's correct. Also has good info on checking to make sure the prop is correct for the engine/hull based on rpm.
