1. Use the full 4 digit year for everything you are asking your question about. Example: 1962, 1988, 2000, 2011 2. Include the correct name of your Whaler model. Example: Montauk 17, Montauk 170, Outrage 26, Outrage 260 3. Include the length when necessary. Example: 16, 17, 18, 20, 22 4. Do not post your email address anywhere on this site as it is already in your user profile.
We have a whalershopping network Here however, it shows no one in the San Diego area. This is a network of Whaler owners willing to help others look at a boat in their area if you are across the country. I have found that Whaler owners usually are far better surveyors of Whalers than the professionals them selves.
Maybe if you find someone they would be willing to add themselves to the map.
You can also find accredited Marine Surveyors on the SAMS website if you wish (click on "Full Roster By Location" on the left of the page).
Also, I have written a 19 page survey document for evauting a used whaler and it can be downloaded here.

Thank you Jeff!
I have viewed your 19 page survey document, and it is a great resource. I will be in pursuit of a surveyor and or someone that I can have do a detailed examination of BW that I am looking at. If I have luck with this, I will be sure to include contact names and numbers on WC.
