Hi,
Just bought my first Whaler and wanted some feedback on the model and other characteristics present. Im not sure if it's all OEM but I want to bring it back to original condition. I know the helm is not correct as the wheel came off a houseboat. Anyway, I think it is a 1972 Cohasset II(Hull ID # 3A5850). Thanks for all your comments.
If you could post images that my help however, you are correct, the Hull stencil # indicates it is most likely a hull built in 1972. The model though can not be told by the Hull stencil Number unless you contact Chuck Bennett at Whaler. If it is a 16' hull and it has an RPS like the later Montauks I would assume it to be a cohasset II.
