Does anyone know how to value a 1989 red Mischief with 93 Pro 50HP Yamaha
and trailer? Condition is fair - am thinking of selling. Any help would be
appreciated.
Some pics would help. is the gel coat still nice and red or has it faded to a almost pink? Bottom painted? interior nice? etc I can tell you that the Mischief 15 is a niche' model whaler and doesn't appeal to the normal whaler owner. They are rare, but thats doesn't always equate to high value. I personally like the Mischiefs and drove 3600 miles to ge ta nice one with a blown motor for $3400. i have since repowered wit ha new 2005 90 merc and alum trailer and have it for sale at $8500. Thats a heck of a lot of money for a 15' boat IMO and the current economy isn't the best for any kind of boat or other toy sales. Put some pics up and some more details and I'm sure some of us will do our best to give you an honest opinion.
I have just come across a white whaler mischief, she is a 1990 model with a 70hp engine.....red interior....I am selling it for a friend who is not 'puter savvy..... I have some pics I will post.... my understanding is that the white one is the rarest of the rare.... I am sailor, so don't know that much about the whaler, other than their reputation...
