repowering a 19' outrage II, 1993

Member Personal Page Posts: 18 Comments: 0 Joined: 03/14/08	has anyone repowered an 19' outrage II? the boat is rated for a 150hp just like all of the classic outrage 18's but weighs 650 lbs. more at 1900lbs. i was thinking about a 175 or 200. any suggestions?

Member Posts: 4 Comments: 0 Joined: 01/16/07	I repowered my 1993 outrage II with a 1996 150 johnson and have been very happy. Top speed with 3 on board is 43 mph turning a 17 pitch SST prop.
