1. Use the full 4 digit year for everything you are asking your question about. Example: 1962, 1988, 2000, 2011
2. Include the correct name of your Whaler model. Example: Montauk 17, Montauk 170, Outrage 26, Outrage 260

Johnson gauges?

Member Personal Page Posts: 230 Comments: 0 Joined: 07/07/08	1990 Johnson 88SPL, runs great but there is only a tach on the dash for the gauges. I'm thinking a temp gauge would be nice, as well as warning lights. Anyone know of a source to get these? Are they generic?

The Traditional series is harder to find as they no longer make them but some dealers may have some old stock. Otherwise, I would buy the Tech Series gauges but keep your tach for now. When your tach finally goes, then replace it with the newer Tech Series.

Member Posts: 264 Comments: 0 Joined: 03/14/08	Outboards usually have a water pressure instead of temperature. Volts, trim, RPM Speed etc. Go to IBOATS.com. I got my gauges thru them. West Marine and Boaters World also have them..
