I use "Boat Zoap" (environmentally safe) or "Baking Soda" or just water and a brush, I'm docked next to the only tree on the property, a "Weeping Willow" (yea, I know), I need a good cleaner but, don't want to pollute the Bay. I have used it on white boats before and found it to be a very good cleaner. You might have to wait until the end of the season to do the hull with muriatic acid, but for now, Simple Green and a scrub brush should freshen up your well enough. Good Luck, Grady

Be sure and use a wash mean for boats or cars as Dish and house hold soaps strip any wax you have on the hull off. "Dave", I'm a big Bon Ami Fan, I had no Idea it was "eco-safe", "Kam", Ya right, a cover would be best, I just hate all those snap's, it's mostly "Dust" pounded into the fiber glass after it rain's. I found that "Zymol" car wash is "eco-safe". Perhap's the water's around Long Island are not as clean as they once were, 20 years ago our shellfish production output was second only to "Chesepeake Bay", 26 bushel's of product a day was the "Norm", here, now you can spend all day getting just a 1/2 "bushel", I see no reason to add to the problem. "Responsible" boater's DON'T Pollute ! Thank's for the help, maybe we can turn the mess around for our kid's, that the last generation left us. mw

I dilute with water for general use and use it full power for the tough stains and any greese in the splash well. I dont use dawn as a soap to wash with cause it will strip the wax right off.
