Does anyone know the exact location to install a console and RPS on a 16' 7' hull? I have ordered one from Nautical Lumber and it will arrive this week. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You should already have holes in the hull from where the old one was bolted. I don't know if the new wood will have holes to match up though. Is this not the case for you?

My boat was originally a Currituck so there are no holes as a reference. I'm hoping a Nauset owner will have some measurements for me.

I understand. Unfortunately I won't be able to get to my boat untill this weekend. If you don't have answers by then, I will bring my tape measure. Somewhere on these sites is a diagram of the layout. I don't recall if it gives the details of the holes though. My seat is not reversable. I don't know if mounting is the same. I can at least get you the console though.

lennell,

There is no magic nor, exact OEM place for them to go. Basically the console goes over the rigging tunnel. Move it for or aft till you find a happy place. Once the is set mark it and find a good comfortable location for the seat.
