I just bought a 2003 210 Ventura. I keep the boat on a lift. Yesterday, water started flowing from under the console around the steering column when the boat was up on a plane. It was not just dripping down - but flowing like someone turned on a faucet. It drenched eveything in the storage space below the steering wheel in no time flat. The water seemed clean - maybe rainwater? We had a good T-storm come through night before last. Any thoughts on what might be causing this and how to fix it? Thanks.
If you can't look up under and see where the water is coming from, you may need to unscrew your gage panel cluster and look down. If it only happens when you are up on a plane, then most likely the pressure hose to the speedometer has come loose. Just rehook that water line and you should be good to go!
If you have a mid bilge pump, it is possible that the hose has become loose and is discharging water at the water diacharge thru hull............On this one, you are probably going to have to actually see the source in action before you can cure it.
