Hi Guys,
I am new to this site and a new owner of an old 1989 / 90 17' GLS here in Hong Kong, I must say what an awesome boat and I can see the affection from all your postings...Can I put it out there, are there many of this model around, parts etc easily available...Mine has a bit of neglect but I am looking forward to restoing her to former showroom condition over the coming yrs...
I would be interested in anybodies views, input - thx

Cheers Paul

Paul , looks like a nice Whaler. It seems that you can find about any part you need if you look hard enough. As for repair or ideas for your 17 get familiar with the search option on this site , it has realy helped me. BG

Your boat doesn't look like it needs a lot of major work as we have all seen some a whole lot worse and they have been restored to show room condition. You shoud have very little problem in securring any needed parts that need replacing. Also, welcome to a great site and don't ever be timid about asking questions.........Lots of knowledge here! thanks for your feed back guys, - does anybody know if there is an actual colour code for the paint colour or is mine "off white" bone colour due to tropical sun damage or lack of a good polish? Most of the pic's I have seen the hulls are white..
thx in advance...
