I had a fortunate change in plans and was able to make both events this year. Had a great time in the sun and meeting some of you down there.
Both events went well. The raft-ups were gorgeous, with a variety of boats at each (I think I counted 20 in Bimini). The Whaler staff are awesome hosts.
The fishing was decent, but still fun. I landed a few snapper and schoolie dolphin. Both of which I didnt weigh (and should have. I would have won!
I have a few pictures I need to throw into my photobucket site and will post them when I get the chance.
Highlights for me were Honeymon Harbor in Bimimi. Feeding the stingrays is a surreal experience. I have spet most of my life trying to get AWAY from those things.
In Islamorada, they had a floating trampoline. It was anchored in about 25 feet of water and was actually quite fun. I was run off by the kids, but interesting none the less.
